Alice doesn't live here any more.
BRAVO! Nice site . Keep up the good work.

Excellent stuff on your home page. Funny thing is, I found it by accident, when I did a key-word search on some lyrics to "O Little Playmate," the song quoted in your grandmother's powerfully moving diary. Anyway, best wishes with everything you're doing.
Ben Alexander, balexand@email.gc.cuny.edu
Hi Christine,
Your pages are wonderful. There ought to be more people like you in the world.
I find your pages very inspiring, and if they are an accurate reflection of yourself, then you must certainly have the same effect on those around you. Please keep up the good work (if you can call it 'work'...) and e-mail me anytime at (I haven't got any pages right now, unfortunately).

Your House is truely beautiful! I am so amazed!

I always enjoy your mystery pictures.

I think that your web page is great. I enjoyed it. I just recently did my own web page, and I don't know all that much to begin with, but your page has given me ideas on how to further design other things on my page. I was wondering, would you mind if my wife and I used your link on our page so other people can visit? E-mail me and let me know. You too are welcome to my home page - the address is below.

Hi Christine,
What a lovely house you have. I have hid myself in your attic to read
your grandma's diary, got carried miles away, so I am rather curious
about the sequel.
Well, got to go now, but I'll be back for some tea.

Since I have been in the Tea Room for a while now, I thought it was time I visited the rest of the house. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I look forward to learning about your ancestress. My family has spent lots of time researching our ancestry and Mom(Star) has found some interesting stories about those that came before us. I always love to hear stories, be they mine or someone else's. Keep up the good work!!

I have had you on my list of favori

I don't know how many people you've soothed, informed, and entertained with your talented gifts, but I personally consider myself very fortunate to have crossed paths with you. I recently created a web site from which you now have yet one more route to your beautiful home. You can find this page at http://members.tripod.com/~JJOYL/index.html.
Be well, Christine! I'll be returning again and again to visit you. It's such a delightfully welcome environment that you create here. It's nice to come and "take my shoes off and sit a spell".

This is such a pleasant place away from the din and (perceived) vulgarity of other places I've landed. I realize creative freedom in this media can be all things harsh, abrasive, vulgar, perverse, and yet here is serenity, beauty and wonder. It's all in what you choose
to create. Optimism, simple optimism is what I crave. If I could grasp and hold on to optimistic thoughts I believe I could succeed. Beautiful things stimulate my optimism.
thank you

Wow, I sure loved the attic. When will you add more? I can't wait to find out what happens. My grandmother just passed away Jan.3rd 97 & we have been sharing stories with
each other re: the stories she shared with us about her life. She told one story of how she visited her Aunties down south when her Grandmother & Grandfather sent her & her twin there
for graduation. They invited all the kids from town for a big party. She was so excited and impressed with all the bottles of "Coca Cola" laid out on the table (it was a big deal back then). Anyway, they were all board and walked to the town square for a movie. They noticed someone had mowed the lawn and left several piles of grass around the square. One of the boys set a pile on fire and they all scurried into the movie house. She said as they all hunkered down in their seats, they were cracking up because they could hear the fire truck bells outside. They did a lot of mischievious things in their youth. I'll miss those stories & the lady who shared them. -Heather (ps: changed my online name, fyi)
TeaLvr97, tealvr97@aol.com
I loved the house and especially the Panda room...We have a neighbor and
friend who shares the same name as you...Her name is Pandy..with a "y".
She loves to collect panda bears also. I can't wait to tell her about
you. Keep up the good work.

You have some very nice stuff here... I kinda found your page by accident while I was searchig for a web site mapping utility. Weird how that happens some times. I have bookmarked

Hi, I like the pleasant, antique charm of your abode. I like
the psychological factors of the design, both an attempt to
make your guests feel at home, and several chances for
interactivity between visitors. Well thought out.
My own web site http://www.evansville.net/~grimwulf/papers.html
is carefully designed to give visitors an eerie feeling that
I might actually be an alien from outer space, not a werewolf
like I claim. Visit if you wish. I am NOT an alien.

my daily visits and the cheerful banter there really keep me going.

Excellent page!! Excellent idea!! Hope to find something useful here for my own page http://home.sn.no/~stingray/. As you can see, I'm new at this. After 6 years in Zaire, no wonder. A country without a telephone system is poor for
connecting to the net indeed. Keep up the good work.
Tommy, stingray@sn.no
No phones??? No wonder I get no email from Zaire! :)
Very nice web site! I was looking for just the software
tools you have listed. Thanks! I enjoyed the pictures of your female ancestors -- old
pictures of people who lived in different worlds from ourselves are always interesting.
Like you, my new wife and I are interested in doing work at home -- we are software project managers who have been working for others far too long. We're focusing on the web as well. We have a pretty deep background in the C++/UNIX etc. world, so CGI and Java should be a snap.
Any advice on starting a business like yours?

least I don't think I have...I am a bit forgetful though).

Hi Christine-
I enjoyed looking around your site. I've been teaching myself HTML for the last month or so. My site is still under
considerable construction; so the messy and very incomplete nature of it all has restrained my initiative to advertise its existance. Once I have all my backgrounds finished and a few of my images and animations uploaded and available I'll ask Karra to add my URL to the main Crossroads HomePage but for now I'd like to keep it to myself and a few close friends that are testing it for me. So here's my URL-
http://www.xroads.com/~chadwick.
If you've got the time. Please check it out and let me know how I might improve my pages. Thank you.
Chad Schloss
Thank you for letting me see your house. Don't forget to stop by my house when you are arround.

Nice site designs Christine, you're
one of the few that I would actually

Oh my goodness. This is lovely. I came in through Sage's pages (say that quickly several times), and this is wonderful. The Tea and Conversation is absolutely enchanting, and sometime I might pop in myself. Do you have any strawberry tea in that wonderful house? Thank so much, Christine. When I come back I'll bring some of my mother's capuccino shortbread cookies.

What a great site! I've been poking around, and really like it here! I especially enjoyed reading your grandmother's journal. Would love to read more of it when (if?) you add it. I'm just starting to put together my own page and hope it ends up half as good as yours! Best wishes!

Hi Christine!
Thanks for your e-mail! No, I didn't think you'd disappeared into the ethers, I just know how busy we get. I'm on your page now (from mine). I've looked around again--I like Karra's Korner, as well as walking through your "house". When I look at your links, I feel honored to be included. Thanks!

(Lynn's site, The Dolphin Circle, is all about dolphins and healing - I highly recommend it! pct)
I'm going to have to come back again and again because there is just so much here to see. You have a well designed web site. For the novice (like me) to the expert, someone could learn something from your site. I have.

Hi Christine- just cruising the Net today and stopped to check out the rest of the house. I'm looking forward to more of your Grandmother's journal- how interesting to hear such details from the past. Well, gotta go- see you in the Tearoom!
Jules
I'm new to web-walking. I've enjoyed being here. Although
I didn't bring cookies (this time), I did bring my curiosity,
my doll and my fortune telling cards (a gift from my Mom).
Thank you for letting me explore your house. Didn't have
the courage to visit the healing room; perhaps later.
I collect teapots, tea and recipes, with an eye toward
opening a tea room/shop someday soon.
Best wishes,
Martha McLemore
Very nice, I'll be back after I see the rest of Alan Stuart's tarantulas who got me here in the first place.
Dan Dorian
I'm really impressed. I only started learning HTML about a month ago and I've had my web pages up for a couple of weeks (http://www.public.asu.edu/~golakers/index.htm). I hope that one day I will be able to do as much cool stuff with my site as you have done here. I found your link the Computers & Consulting Services through WebHub, and right now I'm trying to feel out the job market for someone who's pretty much a novice in web publishing (with aspirations to learn a lot more). I'd love to hear from you, and I really enjoyed visiting your site.
Gary Cohen
Sorry, no cookies, but after all, I was invited by accident.
I enjoyed your house, especially your Grandmother's journal.
Thanks!

It's always nice to meet one's neighbors! I am very
impressed with what you've done with your house. I wish I
had your talent. I haven't actually done my home yet and
was looking around the neighborhood trying to get some ideas.
Would you be a dear and give me the recipe for how you did
this (or at least suggest someplace for a beginning web
author to start)?
Thanks!

Nice site. You have the only on-line source to the words

You got it Ewoc! I'll be checking in to see your new additions!
What a gentle space you've created. Congratulations on your healing room. You're right--we all need healing. I am from Southern Oregon, where two weeks ago, two women were murdered by a mad man, an insane man, a man who also needed healing. I knew these two women. One of them pet-sat for my dog Alice from time to time. We all need healing--you are right. My home page is http://one.mind.net/omega/
I'd love for you to visit. I've placed a bookmark on your page, so I know I'll be back. I got here by running a Lycos search string, "Conversation". And look what I found! A healing room. Thank you.

Hi Christine,
This is my first visit to your pages. I found your URL when I did a search on the new AltaVista (Digital) search
engine for Ceanne DeRohan, whose (6) wondrous books I have read only recently.
I'm looking forward to participating a lot here. Thanks. Gonna go look around now. ((((hugs))))

Dear Christine,
I think your homepage is really crap. You should have a look at my homepage. Oh sorry I am just told I don't have a homepage. Anyway I am sure you will not place my comments with the rest because it is obvious these other comments were sent by people who have no have opinion for their own.
yours faithfully,
Jeroen van Zomeren
Jeroen, too bad you don't have a homepage. I'm sure me and all my guests would love to visit and sign YOUR guestbook. pct
What a delightful surprise! I am so pleased to have found this wonderland. I've not seen anything quite like it on
the web--a rich combination of fantasy and intellect. Thank you for inviting us in.

Hi Christine! What a wonderful healing home you have. Thanks for inviting us all in! What a wonderful page! I, too, work with emotional healing and look forward to having you visit on my page sometime soon. I work with the dolphins . . . or more accurately the dolphins are kind enough to work with me and my groups. My focus, like yours, is emotional healing. I'll be back to visit you soon! Stop to visit us, too. The Dolphin Circle resides at http://www.premier1.net/~iamdavid.
Best Regards,
Lynn Phillips
My dear Christine,
What a marvellous playhouse you have! I stopped by for a visit for the first time to-night, and have been wandering
about, peeking into all the rooms. Tea and Conversation sounds delicious, but I have a headache just at the moment,
so perhaps tea only, for just now. Do you have any lapsang-souchong? If not, jasmine will be lovely. Stop
by my salon any time.
yours--
Birdie
Birdie, I'll put a pot of lapsang-souchong on for you right away.
What an appropriately creative page you have here! I hope I brought enough cookies for everyone!
Please, please,...Help yourself, I just made them. Again, a wonderful place to visit. I'll be back!

I must say you appear to be a most gracious hostess. It's raining cats and dogs so I must be getting home;
perhaps in the near future I will re-visit your abode and stay for tea. Do you serve a de-CAF mint tea?
If you like I will bring along a tray of tasty treats when I visit again.
May your tea pot whistle, and conversations be plentiful.
Best Wishes,
Chris
Chris, we'll be sure to have decaf mint tea waiting for you! And you're welcome to borrow my umbie for your trek in the rain.
Hi, I enjoyed your very creative page. I'd like to know more about your past musical career.
Jumpin Jon Neher
Well, Jon, I guess I'll have to add a music room to my house and tell some of the stories from when I was a musician. Hmmm, thanks for the suggestion!
You have a fantastic page. I really enjoyed visiting!

I very much enjoyed coming over to your house and meeting all your friends. What fun! I'm something of a "newbie" (via Netscape), but have been spending inordinate amounts of time surfing and exploring. It's just AMAZING.
Best wishes,
Ann Derrick
Don't worry I won't break anything (grin)

Hey Hey Hey Christine! I think I should really sign your guestbook since I've been participating in your "Tea and Conversations." This is definitely one of the best spot on the Web. I'm really glad that I stumbled into your interesting house. Lots of stuff to do and lots of wonderful places to visit. It will be helpful when I create my
homepage--if I ever got around to doing one. (And the first link on my page will be...you guessed it...your Tea place)
Warren "M/C" Wang
Hi Christine! Well, i've been participating in the (tea and) conversation for a while now, on and off... it's been fun! i've finally had a chance to browse around the rest of your pages, and i'm very impressed! You've set up one of those nice-to-visit corners of the web that i'm so fond of. keep up the great work!

Hihihi Christine,
I love your pages!!! :) :) Especially 'Tea and Conversation' - it's so nice to find a place on the Net
where you can just sit down, put your feet up (not literally though, of course, I wouldn't dream of dirtying
any of your chairs!) and relax. It's also a heck of a lot of fun. :) All the other pages are great too... you're created a lovely space to be. I'll be coming back often. :) I've also linked in to your Tea & Conversation pages from one of mine - http://www.geko.com.au/sherlyn/funkystuff.html.
(My main page is at http://www.geko.com.au/sherlyn). Oops, I'd better get back to work, I just wanted to let you know what a pleasure it is to find pages like yours; keep
up the great work! :)
Love,
Sherlyn
Hey, Christine, I didn't bring any cookies, can I still look around? :)
